Poster Competition Presentation 2025

This is a synopsis  of the prize giving hand-over ceremony meeting on Fri, 20th June 25.

Minister Kerryne James:
Minister of Climate Resilience,  Environmental and Renewable  Energy.

Ms. James enthusiastically congratulated all the young prize winners those present and who were unable to come in person to collect their monetary prizes.

Ms. James highlighted to the young shcool students the real and immediate threat of climate changes and the importance of keeping Grenada litter, and plastic bottle free, and explained to the children that they are the ones to take up the challenge, they are the next generation to get the message across to keep Grenada Pure, Clean, and Beautiful.

Ms. James emphasized that if nothing is done to reverse the trend!
By 2050 there will be more plastic in the sea than fish!.
So, therefore, they have to be the furure advocates and pick up the mantle.

Prizes were handed out by Ian Baikie and the Minister Kerryne James.
